Thanks for your explanation Silesian, I\'ve enjoyed it to be honest.
However, your talk is rather empty when contrasted with your photos uploaded here. Only one from Saudi Arabia (trucks) talks something to the viewer. The rest is, I would say, below the average here. Furthermore, some users can even start to laugh and joke on you when reading about “mystery theory” with respect to the photos you uploaded.

Sorry for writing in English, but my written Polish is even worse than my spoken Polish (which is not good at all).

I have posted six photos on this site, all of them without a title. Some people have wondered why I have not given titles to them. The reason is quite simple: titles have a tendency to shape interpretation, or even to \"force\" an interpretation onto a photo. Some photographic genres, such as landscapes, can readily accommodate a title, but most genres, and most photos, are \"larger\" than any given title; their meanings, whatever they may be, are too fluid to be contained within a title.

Beyond that, and rather more important, is the fact that __in my opinion__ when viewing a photo, what must be apprehended is the photo itself, and exclusively so. Above all, the reasons the photographer took the photo should, I think, present to the viewer something of a mystery, and the photo itself should present mystery to the viewer as well. A title both impedes and interrupts the communication between the photo/photographer, and the person who views the photo.

For the same reasons, captions for photos ought be avoided as well.
